NX Shoji Co.,Ltd.
NX Shoji Co., Ltd. launched trial operations in 2024 using biodiesel fuel to power its own bunker supply vessel, "Aiko Maru", which supplies fuel to ships at sea.
The biodiesel fuel is an environmentally friendly alternative made from recycled cooking oil that would otherwise be discarded, reducing CO2 emissions by approximately 20% compared to conventional fuel.
Following the trial operations and evaluation, the company plans to develop a supply framework and begin selling biodiesel fuel for marine vessels to customers.
