To reduce the impact on biodiversity, each NX Group company aims to establish a supply chain that does not contribute to deforestation, in accordance with the NX Group Environmental Charter. In order to achieve this objective, the NX Group procures paper products associated with commodities related to deforestation (‘forest-risk commodities’) in accordance with the action guidelines shown below.
Scope:
Procurement of paper products used by NX Group companies and their business partners for the NX Group’s business activities.
Target:
Increase the procurement of sustainable products with the aim of achieving ‘zero deforestation’ in the procurement of the subject products by 2030.
Action Guidelines:
Each NX Group company strives to undertake the following actions in cooperation with its business partners:
1. Increase the procurement of products with internationally recognised forest certifications or other equivalent products.
2. Increase the procurement of recycled paper.
