NX Automotive Logistics USA, Inc (hereinafter “NXAL") has installed two on-site solar grids to generate its own renewable electricity to support Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission targets.

The first of two grids was installed in conjunction with the construction of a new 16,723 m2 warehouse which was completed in April 2026.  Solar Grid #1 is designed to produce 740,062 kWh of electricity per year for the Ohio based location.
During its first full month of operation (July 2026),  Solar Grid #1 provided 51% of NXAL’s total electric need for the month.  Between the grid’s start of operations on June 9, 2026, and September 1, 2026, Solar Grid #1 generated 215,443 KWh of electricity, which reduced NXAL’s GHG emissions by 145 metric tons of Carbon Dioxide equivalent (CO2e)

Solar Grid #2 came online in September 2026.  It was designed for 701,653 KWh generation per year.  With the inclusion of the second grid, NXAL anticipates, an estimated 50%-60% of the company’s annual need will be met by its on-site solar systems.

NXAL has completed several projects over the past years to reduce its carbon footprint including; replacing all fluorescent warehouse and office lighting with motion activated LED fixtures, upgrades to HVAC units and transitioning from propane to battery powered industrial vehicles. Moving forward, NXAL will focus on converting its vehicle fleet to BEV technology and upgrade heating equipment to further reduce Scope 1 emissions.
