Conversion to Renewable Energy at NX WANBISHI

In fiscal 2024, NX WANBISHI ARCHIVES CO., LTD. switched to 100% renewable energy for electricity used in the company’s data centers, which support the data solutions business. This initiative, combined with the company’s sustainability efforts, enables carbon offsetting of CO₂ emissions equivalent to electricity consumption at the data centers through the use of non-fossil fuel certificates. The data solutions business manages WAN-Sign, an electronic contract and contract management service, and WAN-RECORD Plus, a record banking system.

NX Wanbishi Archives information management centers also continue to transition to more efficient HVAC systems and install LED lighting. In fiscal 2025, they switched all lighting at company sites to LED lighting. The Kanto No. 3 Center (located in Saitama Prefecture) also installed and begun operating a solar power generation system.

Looking ahead, NX Wanbishi Archives will continue to reduce CO₂ emissions and expand the use of renewable energy across overall corporate activities.
