Reducing Scope 3 Emissions Through Ocean Cargo Forwarding Services

　NX GLOBAL OCEAN NETWORK PTE.LTD.（以下略称NXGO)は、NXグループにおける海上貨物の利用運送事業者としてNIPPON EXPRESSホールディングス株式会社と協調し、2023年12月にNXGO B/Lが発行された全ての海上LCL貨物輸送を対象としたGHG排出量と同量のカーボンクレジットを調達、オフセットし、NXグループのScope3削減に取り組みました。

NXGO also joined the ocean cargo forwarding carbon insetting program in February 2025, initiated by Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. ("MOL"), and introduced the NX-GREEN Ocean Program. The NX-GREEN Ocean Program is a new service that supports customers in reducing Scope 3 emissions. This service enables NX GROUP to allocate the GHG emission reductions and corresponding certificates acquired through MOL’s low-carbon shipping operations to customers working to reduce Scope 3 emissions. These customers can then reflect the reductions in their integrated reports. All international ocean cargo shipments under NXGO-issued bills of lading, regardless of origin or destination, are eligible for the NX-GREEN Ocean Program.
