Biodiesel Fuel and Off-Grid Houses to Reduce CO2 Emissions

NX Engineering Co., LTD.

Environmental Value

As part of its efforts to protect the environment, NX Engineering Co., LTD. began using 100% biodiesel fuel (B100) made from waste cooking oil and other materials in the company's power generators, aiming to achieve net zero CO2 emissions. In addition, the Akanehama Facility Base (Narashino City, Chiba Prefecture) began using environmentally friendly B5 fuel, which reduces CO2 emissions by about 5% when compared to diesel oil.

The company continues to incorporate the use of renewable energy sources to achieve the goal of carbon neutrality by 2050. One example of this ongoing commitment is the use of off-grid houses at wind power generation construction sites. These houses are equipped with solar panels and energy storage systems to minimize generator operation and reduce CO2 emissions even further.

In line with the NX GROUP Sustainability Policy, NX Engineering continues to pursue businesses that reduce the environmental impact of the company and its customers, striving to achieve a carbon-neutral society and protect the global environment.
