Nippon Express (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. (President: Takushi Mogi; hereinafter "NX Vietnam"), a group company of NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, INC. (President: Satoshi Horikiri), held a commemorative ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on Saturday, December 20, to mark its 25th anniversary.

Established in Vietnam as an NX Group subsidiary in 2000, NX Vietnam currently operates 23 locations nationwide that provide end-to-end logistics services extending the full length of supply chains. These services include air and ocean freight forwarding, logistics, inventory management, inspection, assembly, export packaging, and customs brokerage.
Approximately 700 guests attended the ceremony, including representatives from customer and partner companies, numerous individuals who have played important roles in NX Vietnam's history, and current employees. During the ceremony, Katsuhito Kobayashi, President of NX South Asia & Oceania (hereinafter "NXSAO"), described this milestone anniversary as a new starting point and reiterated the Group's policy of contributing to Vietnamese society as it expands its business. NX Vietnam President Takushi Mogi followed up by expressing his unwavering commitment to safety and quality and his determination to ensure the company remains the logistics provider of choice in Vietnam by encouraging all employees to work as one in embracing challenges.
NX Vietnam will continue contributing to society through its business operations by co-creating with stakeholders - including employees, business partners, customers, and local communities - in pursuit of a prosperous future.

We set up operations in Ho Chi Minh City in 2000 and subsequently expanded our presence to Hanoi, Hai Phong, and Da Nang. We now have 23 business locations nationwide that provide a diversity of logistics services, including air and sea freight forwarding, warehousing, and international removals.
Over the past 25 years, we have achieved steady growth under the leadership of successive management teams and with the support of our customers and local communities as well as the dedication of our employees and their families. Amid increasing uncertainty in the global economy, our expectations for the Vietnamese market as part of our "China Plus One" strategy are rising. NX Vietnam commenced operations in 2000 with a staff of 40 and has expanded its business in step with Vietnam's economic development. Our staff numbered 500 in 2011, topped 1,000 in 2019, and now stands at about 1,300.
For the past 25 years, we have prioritized safety and quality improvement above all else, striving to provide high-quality services, propose logistics cost reductions, and optimize supply chains as a trusted logistics partner. The external environment has undergone significant changes in recent years due in part to natural disasters linked to climate change, geopolitical risks, and increasing supply chain complexity.
