(President: Satoshi Horikiri), on Wednesday, February 19 participated in a logistics symposium - "Aiming for Advanced Logistics in the Philippines: Improvement of Logistics in ASEAN Island Region" - co-organized by the Philippine Department of Transportation and the Japan Transport and Tourism Research Institute ASEAN-India Regional Office. President Shigeyoshi Nakayama attended the proceedings and took part in a panel discussion.

Since its establishment in 1967, ASEAN has seen its economy continue to grow until it now ranks behind only the US, China and the EU and is on par with India. The Philippines enjoys a particularly strategic location and plays an important role as a key hub in trade routes in the Asia-Pacific region.
This symposium was held to discuss issues and solutions for improving logistics in the island nation of the Philippines, and featured lectures and research reports on logistics conditions in the Philippines and proposed improvements. A panel discussion was held on boosting the country's logistics efficiency, during which President Nakayama took the stage to introduce his company's initiatives, share issues, and engage in in-depth discussions on specific measures to improve logistics in the Philippines and on potential cooperation. The other participants offered a variety of opinions and posed numerous questions, making the symposium a valuable opportunity to consider the future of logistics in the ASEAN region as a whole.

The NX Group remains committed to solving social issues facing the logistics industry and contributing to a better future for the industry.
