Nippon Express (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. (President: Takushi Mogi; hereinafter, "NX Vietnam"), a group company of NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, INC. (President: Satoshi Horikiri), conducted a beach cleanup activity at Ninh Chu Beach in Khanh Hoa Province, Vietnam, on Friday, June 27 and Friday, July 25 as part of its community engagement initiatives.

This activity was carried out as part of an internal initiative to strengthen employee unity, fulfill the company's corporate social responsibility (CSR), deepen ties with the local community, and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.
Ninh Chu Beach is known as "one of the most beautiful beaches in southern Vietnam" and is a popular resort destination visited byboth domestic and international touristes. However, in recent years, there have been concerns about the deterioration of the natural landscape and the impact on marine life due to an increase in litter.
A total of 80 NX Vietnam employees participated in the cleanup over the two days, collecting various types of waste that had washed up on the shore, including food packaging, plastic bottles, and cigarette butts. In total, about 10 bags of trash were collected, and each participant was able to recognize the seriousness of the marine litter problem and renew their awareness of environmental conservation.
The NX Group will continue acknowledging its social and public missions as a logistics company, as well as actively communicating with local communities and engaging in community-based social contribution activities to achieve sustainable societies.
