Nippon Express Co. Ltd. (President: Shinjiro Takezoe; hereinafter, "Nippon Express"), a group company of NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, INC. (President: Satoshi Horikiri), has won the Sales Enablement Award in the Forbes JAPAN NEW SALES OF THE YEAR 2024 Awards sponsored by Forbes JAPAN to honor model sales organizations for a new era. This is the second consecutive year Nippon Express has been recognized by Forbes JAPAN, having won the Best Engagement Award in 2023.
The Forbes JAPAN NEW SALES OF THE YEAR Awards aim to highlight enterprise companies practicing "New Sales" - innovative sales activities that will be needed in the coming era - and to widely convey new sales possibilities.
Nippon Express provides high-quality end-to-end logistics services utilizing air, ocean, rail and truck transport as well as warehouses and IT systems, and it established a new Sales Enablement Division in 2023 to create a framework for proactive solution sales suited to a "New Normal" era, reduce the workload of sales personnel, and produce positive sales results.
Nippon Express has aggregated more than 2,000 knowledge submissions from more than 4,000 salespeople and efficiently shared them throughout the company. This has led to a transformation in sales that has generated an average of 8.4 hours per person per month of newly available customer service time.
Forbes JAPAN's 2024 Awards recognized the Division's efforts to reform sales organizations and build a data-driven sales structure that leverages knowledge, among these being the compilation of a "Sales Playbook" that verbalizes all the key actions practiced by high performers in each sales phase and shares these internally.
The NX Group will be making full use of information and digital technologies to accelerate its digitalization (DX) endeavors and providing new value to customers around the world by proposing optimal logistics solutions to support their global business operations.
