Nippon Express (India) Private Limited (President: P. Krishna Murthy; hereinafter "NX India"), a group company of NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, INC. (President: Satoshi Horikiri), has constructed a classroom and library at K.V.C.R. Zila Panchayat Higher Secondary School in Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh. The donation and a handover ceremony were conducted on June 13.

NX India has long been actively involved in CSR activities to promote education in various regions in India. The donation of a classroom and a library to K.V.C.R. Zila Panchayat Higher Secondary School is yet another step taken to help support the development of human resources who will lead India in the future and to drive social development by providing children living in rural areas with better educational opportunities and environments.
K.V.C.R. Zila Panchayat Higher Secondary School offers lower and upper secondary education (ages 11-15), and 720 children attend this equivalent of a Japanese junior or senior high school. The handover ceremony was attended by about 250 people, including students and local residents, who celebrated this latest enhancement of the educational environment for children in India.
The NX Group will continue to fulfill its responsibilities for social development by connecting people, companies, and communities, and to actively engage in social contribution activities in pursuit of sustainable societies.
