Nippon Express (China) Co., Ltd. (Chairman: Sumitoshi Matsuo; hereinafter, "NX China") and Nippon Express Automotive Logistics (China) Co., Ltd. (President: Kentaro Shimoda; hereinafter, "NX Automotive Logistics (China)), both group companies of NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, INC. (President: Satoshi Horikiri), held a tree-planting activity on Sunday, March 31 together with the Guangzhou City Huangpu District Yunpu Subdistrict Yunlu Community and the Guangzhou University Gaoxin District Experimental School.

The NX Group, cognizant of its social and public missions as a logistics company, is working to achieve sustainable societies through proactive communication with local communities and community-rooted social contribution activities.
NX China's South China Regional Branch and NX Automotive Logistics (China) recently conducted a tree-planting activity at the Guangzhou University Gaoxin District Experimental School together with the Guangzhou City Huangpu District Yunpu Subdistrict Yunlu Community as part of their environmental and social contribution activities. Sixty-nine people - including NX Group employees and their families, Community members, and school staff - participated in the event, planting a total of 60 trees of five different species (longan, lychee, grape, mulberry, and jabuticaba). Through this initiative, participants reaffirmed the importance of environmental protection and enhanced their awareness of corporate sustainability efforts.
The NX Group will continue fulfilling its social development responsibilities by connecting people, companies, and communities, and will actively work to preserve the global environment to bring about sustainable societies.
